Stock Tank Pool provides a fun way for families to enjoy their time and focus on their well-being. Though our pools are only 2’ deep, families with pets and children need to be more cautious in and around the pool to avoid accidents and other potential threats. These pools should be properly maintained to ensure proper sanitation measures are taking place. Without proper pool and hot tub maintenance (which includes circulation and treatment of water) various pathogens can grow. It can also create a breeding ground for mosquitoes.

(NO Diving!) Diving or jumping may cause death, paralysis, or permanent injury. See Terms & Conditions before inquiring and/or purchasing. Pools present a drowning risk, no matter their size or depth. Children should never be left unattended in a pool, whether stock tanks or not. Even though a stock tank is 2' shallow they still present a drowning and safety hazard. Children and adults can drown in as little 6" of water. It is up to you evaluate whether a pool, stock tank or not, is safe for you and your family. When leaving pool, remove floats and toys that might attract a child back to the pool. No glass in pool area. No running, jumping, or horseplay in or around pool. Don’t use the pool when using alcohol or drugs. Never operate the pump when pool is occupied or without water in the pool at least up to the height of the fittings. Never play or swim near suction fittings. Never enter the pool if suction strainer grid cover is loose, broken or missing. Drowning happens quickly. People drowning cannot call out for help. TO AVOID DROWNING OR SERIOUS INJURY ALL POOL USERS MUST KNOW AND FOLLOW THESE SAFETY RULES. SUPERVISE, SUPERVISE, SUPERVISE.

  1. Make sure to review our safety & warning information prior to entering a Stock Tank Pool.

  2. Shade is important to keep your pool cool and keep your shoulders from burning. Try one of the umbrellas listed in our recommended products!

  3. Give your Stock Tank Pool an environment that brings you joy. Set the scene and make yourself comfortable. Pick your vibe and go for it. Maybe hang some lights, grab a neck pillow, a cold drink, plant some plants, play some tunes. Make your space delightful. Stock Tank Pools pair perfectly with a backyard oasis.

  4. Cover your Stock Tank Pool to keep out the leaves & debris. Stock Tank Pool Covers coming soon!

  5. Don't pee in your Stock Tank Pool. Just don't. Studies suggest that urine can combine with the chlorine in swimming pool water to make potentially harmful chemicals. Find a tree (or a toilet).

  6. Keep the water flowin'. A good rule of thumb is to tune your timer to 2 hours on, 4 hours off. The 3/4 horsepower pump provides plenty of circulation for your Stock Tank Pool which also keeps the temperature of the water lower.

  7. Don't paint the inside of your Stock Tank Pool. I know it's tempting, but as long as you follow our rules on chlorinating lightly, your pool should not show rust for many years. The tanks are made of galvanized steel, protected by a zinc coating which is made to resist rust.

  8. Wear sunscreen or a large floppy hat. No shame in a sun shirt! We want you to spend all day enjoying your Stock Tank Pool with no regrets.

  9. Share your space with friends and neighbors, responsibly of course. See how quickly your Stock Tank Pool becomes the place to be.

  10. Rinse your body & wipe your feet before hopping in the pool. Sweat and dirt can react with the chlorine to cause unwanted bacteria

  11. Go easy on the chlorine to help your tank last for a long time. Use a chlorine floater and keep it at the lowest setting (or all the way closed). See all maintenance tips in FAQs.

  12. Don't place your Stock Tank Pool on a porch or balcony unless you know it can handle 6000-9000+ pounds of weight (depending on size of your pool and weight of swimmers). That’s about two to three times the weight of a mid-sized sedan. Water is HEAVY.

  13. Do not use a shock treatment to clean your Stock Tank Pool. It is very abrasive and can cause rusting. We recommend cleaning with the sponge or soft brush that comes in your maintenance kit + a mild dish detergent if it looks like it needs a scrub. Use a couple extra chlorine tablets in the floater if the water starts to get cloudy. Also refer to #5 and #10.

  14. We do not recommend using rain or well water in your pool because it has a very low PH and is very acidic.
